In order to properly optimize your site we need access to your website server and the ability to make changes to the content of your pages. No changes are done to your site without complete approval by you, and very few if any changes are seen by your visitors.

After you have paid for your website your designer should have given you a copy of your web pages along with access to the website online (FTP). This is so you can make changes to your pages if you wish to. Many people prefer to have the designer or webmaster make all the changes needed but you should still have an updated copy of the site and access information. We need this to optimize your website.
If you don't have access to your website, then contact us anyway, telling us who you pay for hosting your website, and we can tell you what to ask to gain access
For basic search engine and directory listings, access to your websites server isn't required, but is desirable.

Established website: If your website is in the search engines, you should start to see results with-in six weeks. After 3 x 6 weekly changes your website will be doing well in the search engines. Then it's up to your and your budget, how often you would like us to check, and further update your site. We would recommend twice year. Unless, of course, you are adding new products all the time; then it only makes sense you would need it Optimized more often.

New website: The process is the same as above however the first search engine results can take up to 3-6 weeks to appear.
Incidentally, if you were to have us build a website on our new content management system CMS, which self optimizes, you will see your webpages begin to appear in as little as 11 hours, and depending on how large a website is usually a week for most pages to be in google. Tweaking keywords can be done as soon as a page appears in google, so with a new website built on our CMS, SEO and SEM can start working with a 1 or 2 max.
